RECAP: The 2016 EMMY’s Red Carpet Fashion & Jewelry

The 68th Emmy Awards hosted by Jimmy Kimmel back in September 2016 were filled with Trump mockery and heartfelt speeches, while the cast of Stranger Things passed out sandwiches on bicycles. Overall, a very cultural and fun-filled show. Big winners included Game of Thrones and Veep.It all started on the red carpet, however, where the stars arrived in award season fashion. In attendance for her role in the NBC show, The Good Place, Kristen Bell looked stunning in a Murad dress and a glittering cluster diamond bracelet. Similar to the diamond cuff sported by the actress is this brilliant princess-cut accent bracelet.

This Orphan Black actress made a bold appearance on the carpet with a daring red Alexander Wang gown and subtle drop earrings. Resembling such are these white gold diamond strand earrings. She also impressed by taking home the award for Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

Nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, the Homeland star appeared on the carpet in an over-the-top gold Schiaparelli dress. Her look was up for debate, as some critics thought the gold was overdone, especially her spray tan. Things were toned down, however, as the metallic gown was paired with simple yet chic studs.
