Abby Wambach’s Engagement

Abby Wambach, two-time American Olympic gold medalist and FIFA Women’s World Cup champion, is officially engaged!

Prior to her recent engagement, Wambach was married to pro soccer star Sarah Huffman. Sarah and Abby called it quits after three years of marriage. Wambach one of the biggest stars out of the Rio Olympics revealed, November 2016, she was dating Christian mom blogger, Glennon Doyle Melton and makes a positive turnaround after struggling with drugs and alcohol, along with a DUI in April 2016 leading to their separation.

Melton recently shared the wonderful engagement news via Instagram with a black and white photograph, both Wambach and Melton are seen holding hands and showcasing their gorgeous diamond engagement rings!

Melton captions, “Abby and I have decided to hold hands forever…” A day after, Wambach confirms the engagement by reposting the photo with the addition of “Happy.”
